What Digitca knows about you.

Nothing. Digitca doesn't collect personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no telemetry, no third-party trackers, no advertising identifiers. The App Store privacy nutrition label says "Data Not Collected" because that's the truth.

Where your data lives

Every calculation, tape, archived tape, setting, theme choice, and preference is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your iPhone or iPad unless you actively share it through the system share sheet (e.g. AirDrop, Mail, Messages).

Camera and microphone

If you choose to use the OCR feature (Pro), Digitca asks for camera access. The image is processed locally on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No image is uploaded anywhere.

If you choose to use voice input (Pro), Digitca asks for microphone access. Speech is processed using Apple's Speech framework, which may use Apple's servers depending on your device's settings — that processing is governed by Apple, not by Digitca.

Currency rates

The currency converter (Pro) downloads daily exchange rates from a public rate provider. The request is anonymous and contains no personal information about you. The rates are cached on your device.

Purchases

If you buy Digitca Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. Digitca receives only the confirmation that you own the product — no payment details, no name, no email. Refunds and family sharing are also handled by Apple.

iCloud sync

iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, your tapes are synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. The data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. Digitca has no access to it.

Children

Digitca is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected, no special handling for users under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) is needed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. There's no email list to notify.
